MB25 FORD CORTINA G.T. Issued 1970 to 1972
A Mark II Ford Cortina was first released in May 1968, and was the first model to be fitted with the Autosteer facility. It was finished in Metallic Light Brown with clear windows and a cream interior. Opening doors and a tow hook boosted the play value and a Yellow plastic detachable roof rack. This model is shown in the bottom picture.

The release of Superfast models In 1970 saw the same Metallic Light Brown model but without the roof rack in the cross over period.
The new colour for 1970 was to be Metallic Blue of which three shades exist. One is the most common being a Medium Metallic Blue with a dull metal base. The other two a Dark Metallic Blue and a Very Dark Metallic Blue both had a very bright metal base. This model was then deleted in 1972. No other variations exist with thin Superfast wheels.
In 1985 and 1986 the model was re-issued in Bulgaria and Hungary. These Models came with wide dot-dash wheels and came in Black, Red and Green with yellow or red interiors and an unpainted or black painted base. Lots of variations exsits with the three colours having both interiors and bases fitted. Three variations are shown below.
